What To Do If You Miss A Class

If you miss a class, you are still responsible for any and all work done and assigned that class.

  1. Do the assigned reading.
  2. If your class has weekly quizzes, be sure to take the quiz by the required time.
  3. Look at and understand the lecture notes from the missed class.  If you have questions, ask a classmate or me.
  4. Do the assigned homework!

Missing a class does not excuse you from homework due that day or the following week.  Late homework will never be accepted.

If the homework is due the day you miss, then someone else in your group should be handing in the homework.  Make sure more than one person has a copy of the final assignment.

If your homework is due in the future, you have been assigned a group.  Your group members know who you are and can contact you via email.  Check your email.  If you are anxious and have not heard from your group, send email to the class asking your group to contact you.  To send email to the class, follow these steps.

1. Log into the Lion's Den

2. Click on My Courses

3. Click on this course

4. Click on E-mail

5. Select All and then Send Email and ask your classmates which group you are in.
